Vortex smart red light

Hi,

Have just got a new vortex smart and used it once for about five minutes. Tried to use it the next day and when I plug it in the LED light flashes red green a few times then flashes red. As a result it won't connect to iPad.

Is this a power or interference issues or something else?

So frustrating as it worked fine yesterday!
