What are Angels?Angels are pure spirits created by God. The English word "Angel" is derived from the Greek "Angelos" which means messenger. However, the Hebrew word for "angel" is "malak", which also means messenger. The prophet Malachi took his name from this word. Malachi was himself a messenger and prophesised about the coming of "the messenger of the covenant", Jesus Christ (Malachi 3:1). The word Angel usually refers to heavenly beings but humans can also be angels acting as messengers. When we talk about angels doing super natural things we are referring to heavenly beings. By the way, IF its not your own work/wording, can you link to the source from where you got the work from. As we don't want to steal anyone else's thunder by posting another's work, if you get my drift. Great post though! Thank you!
